Iconic Kate Moss shoot on Camber Sands

It has been 25 years since the 'Rock n Roll' of all Supermodels Kate Moss started her career. She has been on more than 300 magazine covers and the 'Face' of numerous campaigns. Mix that with scrutiny and Love from the Press and never ending public attention, she is no less than an icon of our time and it all started on a shoot back in 1990 on Camber Sands, East Sussex.

Corinne Day was commissioned by The Face for a definitive grunge story entitled ‘The 3rd Summer of Love’. Styled by Melanie Ward Kate was only fifteen and completely unknown. The pictures were shot in black and white and described as ‘dirty realism’.

This is arguably the most important shoot Kate Moss ever did, as it was these images that were seen by Fabien Baron and the beginning of Kate Moss’s relationship with Calvin Klein.
